        Richard Smith

     Obit

February, 1969

Richard C. Smith, 33 of 319 Lakeside Ave;  Lorain was dead on arrival at Lutheran in Cleveland following an auto accident in the Cleveland early this morning.

He was born in Lorain and had lived and worked in Cleveland for part of his later life.

He was the district manage for Caroline Inc., Cleveland.

He was a graduate of Lorain High School in 1953 and the Smith family is the fifth generation of one of the earliest famillies to settle in Lorain.

Surviving are two sons,  Ricky and Tim, and two daughters, Christine and Valerie all at home, his mother Rosella of Lorain; a  sister,  Mrs Irivin (Leila) Hoover of Lorain; four brothers, Hartley Jr., Robert, and Charles, all of Lorain, and Howard L.  of Sheffield Lake.

Friends may call at the Schwartz- Spence & Boyer HOme for Funerals, Lorain, tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held Friday. Arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by the Schwartz- Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, Lorain.
